Diina is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and Professional Project Manager (PMP) with over 16 years of experience in the construction industry worldwide. Her experience emanates from working as a Quantity Surveyor Consultant in South Africa, Namibia, and the UAE (Dubai) as well as managing a construction company for three years all prior to joining the Hangala Group team. Additionally, she has over 5 years of experience in Facility Management.
Diina obtained a BTech in Quantity Surveying from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 2007. After working for a few years, she went into Academia and did a two-year stint at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, lecturing and developing the curriculum for the first BTech: Facilities Management qualification in South Africa. Hereafter, she took an opportunity to expand her Quantity Surveying skills in Dubai which was then the Construction Capital of the world at a consulting firm and after returning to Namibia was a General Manager of a construction company. At the end of 2017, Diina embarked on a journey in the Facilities Management field at an SEO in Namibia where she managed 125 properties countrywide.
Over the years, Diina has excelled in areas of contract management, cost control, and facilities management with utmost efficiency, ensuring that the client's interest takes priority and is well looked after.
Outside the office, Diina is not only a football player who once represented Namibia and played semi-professional football in South Africa but she still participates in the top tier Women's Leaque (WSL) and is currently serving on the FIFA Normalization Committee for Namibia.
